1.  The usual length is about 25 to 30 pages equalling a running time of 25 to 30 minutes
(one page of a double spaced script roughly equals one minute of running time).

2.  Begin with a strong inciting incident.

3.  End with a climax that packs a wallop.


Remember, the shorter the play the less emphasis you can have in character development, subtext, and consequences of events.
